Wide Bay Burnett Asset Management Group

The Wide Bay Burnett Asset Management Group is a regional asset management group set up in 2009 to advance asset management with in the region.

It consists of representatives from the following Councils.

• Bundaberg Regional Council
• Fraser Coast Regional Council
• Gympie Regional Council
• Burnett Regional Council
• South Burnett Regional Council

Objectives

1. The development of a region-wide agreement on common definitions & terminology.
2. The identification of common asset management reporting requirements.
3. The facilitation of region-wide data sharing including unit rates.
4. The development of a region-wide agreement on common methodologies.

Asset Management Plan Contacts

In January 2010 the group agreed to work together where possible in relation to the development of Asset Management Plans. Each Council nominated a primary contact.
